Dr. Cosmas Ho is the founder and President of Terra Nova Fishery Company Limited.

Terra Nova Fishery Company Limited was incorporated in Newfoundland in 1979 under the leadership of Dr. Cosmas Ho, an innovative-minded entrepreneur, research scientist as well as a successful medical doctor who has practiced in Newfoundland since 1961.

The company is a fully licensed primary and secondary fish processor. It has maintained an active interest in developing the commercial potential of various marine species and products suitable for Canadian, American and Asian markets. The company is unique to the seafood industry in Newfoundland in that the largest percentage of its efforts and sales is in the form of specifically in underutilized marine species. Approximately 90% of the Company's products are exported from Canada.

One major product undertaken by Terra Nova at present is the marketing and sale of Seal Oil capsules as a nutritional supplement which has been proven to have Nature's highest and complete components of Omega 3, a group of polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Through Dr. Ho's initiatives, in 1994, his company introduced the FIRST COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION OF EDIBLE SEAL OIL for human consumption in the world.

Products sold so well in China, that the news media and health journals dubbed Dr. Cosmas Ho as, "THE FATHER OF SEAL OIL."

Dr. Cosmas Ho is now widely recognized throughout the world, as well as in China, as THE PIONEER OF SEAL OIL RESEARCH, for his discovery of the valuable components of Omega-3 PUFA's.
